With lush green grass as far as the eye can see at the Kingdom’s only 18-hole championship standard golf course, and a nine-hole course designed by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, The Royal Golf Club is an exciting location for fans of the sport.

Luxurious meals are crafted at the hands of head chef Paul Gindra, who is in charge of the club’s flagship restaurant Links, as well as Repartee Lounge, Hickory’s and Café T.

Ensuring guests start their mornings on a tasty note, the Links breakfast menu offers a wide selection – from a baker’s basket of pastries to healthy bowls of muesli to a traditional Bahraini ful medames. The dinner menu features an international array of gourmet options such as steak, chicken, lamb racks and a signature seafood platter served with pilaf rice and lemon and butter sauce.

The Links brunch is quickly becoming a favourite among members and non-members alike,featuring live music from the likes of jazz artist Ahmed Al Qassim and classical guitarist Thu Le, as well as musician Paul Adams and a Brazilian Bossanova band. Repartee is a cosy place for those looking to unwind on the weekend with nice music, comfortable seating, and a stunning view of the golf course that stretches ahead.

Guests can also enjoy the relaxed ambiance of a lounge in the non-smoking outlet, Hickory’s, where golfers often go after their rounds. Or they can enjoy breakfast and light lunch at Café T, which is open to members and non-members. Open for non-members as well, the Royal Golf Club poolside area is quickly becoming a sought-after venue to host weddings and outdoor events.
